Request a sponsorshipAdam Timothy Group is a team of real estate advisors at Compass in Austin, led by Adam Stanley and Timothy Powles. We support 501(c)(3) organizations working on the LGBTQ+ community, homelessness, hunger and health — with cash, with a stay at our Puerto Vallarta condo for your silent auction, and with whatever else is useful to an event. Everything an organizer needs is on this page, along with a form if you'd like us to consider yours.
What We Sponsor, and Why
We give where it lands closest to home: organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community, homelessness, hunger and health.
Why we do it
We look for groups that are run by the people they serve. Those organizations work in the parts of a community that get the least support and carry the most risk, and money moves further there than almost anywhere else.
The other reason is simple. Our business is built on the idea that a transaction ends but a relationship doesn't, and the same is true of the places we live. Austin, Houston, Puerto Vallarta — these communities show up for us. Showing up in return is not marketing. It is how we want to run this thing.
I grew up a gay Black man in a conservative family and a conservative community. What I had, that a lot of people in that position don't, was parents who backed me. I went on to spend a career in corporate leadership where I was almost always the only one in the room who looked like me. I know how much of what I've been able to do came down to having support that isn't guaranteed to anyone. That's the whole reason we give: so somebody else gets that too.

I spent my career feeding people. In a kitchen you learn quickly that a plate in front of someone is never only a plate — it decides whether they feel looked after or not. A food bank does that same thing on a far harder day than any I had. So when we choose where the money goes, I want it going to the people still doing that work when nobody is watching.

Cash
A straight donation, or a sponsorship level at your event. Often the simplest and most useful thing we can do, and plenty of organizations should just ask for this.
A silent auction prize
A stay at our Puerto Vallarta condo, packaged for your auction. Details below. Good for events where you need a headline lot that bids well.
In-kind and collateral
Program ads, gift bag items, banners, newsletter placements. Useful when you need to fill a program or a swag bag as much as you need money.

Scaling it up
The prize can grow with the sponsorship level. At a higher tier we can lift the blackout dates so the winner travels whenever they like, and add nights to the stay.
Worth weighing when you decide what to put in front of your bidders: an unrestricted stay bids higher than a restricted one, and the blackout weeks are the weeks people most want to go.

- Extra nights are added by inquiry, quoted at 20% off
