Come own a piece of history and create a space to swoon over. Classic late 1800s/early 1900s construction: long-leaf / ship lap underneath much of the drywall, original wood floors under the carpet, remove the dropped ceiling from a couple of rooms and enjoy high ceilings throughout. Restore this former beauty to her original glory and have a show-stopper to wow anyone who visits. On a double lot all the way to the alley in charming Smithville, just a few blocks from downtown Main St. Plenty of square footage for the new owners to spread out - three bedrooms, three living areas, a dining room, and a huge kitchen space share 1967 sq ft downstairs. Plus there is an additional approx. 875 sq ft of finished space upstairs. Room to roam inside and out! Happy to provide a recommendation for a lender who can do both a purchase and construction loan – this will not qualify for conventional financing.
