This freezer cocktail combines the smooth richness of Borgata with bold espresso and bourbon, creating a festive, sophisticated drink perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients
- 300 ml vodka
- 200 ml Borgata Chocolate Peppermint Liqueur
- 150 ml bourbon (Adam prefers Bulleit for this recipe)
- 5 ml (1 tsp) espresso powder dissolved in 10 ml (2 tsp) warm water
- Optional: 15 ml (½ oz) simple syrup — only if a slightly sweeter cocktail is preferred
Instructions
- Dissolve the espresso powder in the warm water until fully incorporated.
- In a mixing pitcher, combine the vodka, Borgata Chocolate Peppermint Liqueur, bourbon, and dissolved espresso. Add the simple syrup if you'd like a sweeter flavor profile.
- Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Using a funnel, pour the mixture into a clean, empty 750 ml bottle.
- Seal tightly and place the bottle in the freezer for 6–8 hours or overnight. The high alcohol content will keep it liquid.
To Serve
- Pour directly from the freezer into chilled glasses.
- Garnish ideas: crushed peppermint candies on the rim, a small piece of dark chocolate, or a fresh mint leaf.
Pour it cold, serve it bold. This one's meant to be shared with people you actually like.
